Lauren

Lauren is originally from Wisconsin and spent several years living and working in St. Louis, MO before settling in Arizona in 2018. She currently lives in the Phoenix area with her husband and 2 young children.

Lauren comes to Valbuena Wellness with extensive experience in mental health including inpatient and outpatient settings. She has significant work experience with children and adolescents as well as adults with specialty experience in severe and persistent mental illness and substance use and recovery settings.

An advocate of lifelong learning, Lauren began her career in nursing with an Associate’s degree before pursuing both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Saint Louis University.

Lauren currently holds a Master’s degree in Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
Her experience in working with and advocating for patients allows her to work closely with them to develop individual treatment plans that allow them to accomplish their goals for mental health and wellness.

Lauren’s special interest populations include Anxiety disorders and those working toward substance use Recovery.
